Easy & Great Cajun Jambalaya Ingredients: ¼ lb diced chicken* ¼ lb diced Polish or Anduille sausage* 2 cups fully cooked white or wild rice 1 bottle Cajun Sauce 1. In large lightly greased frying pan, sauté chicken & sausage together until chicken is cooked 2. Cook rice according to direction 3. Add 1 bottle Starship’s Cajun sauce to sausage & chicken and heat until hot 4. Spoon rice evenly onto four plates making a space in the middle 5. Spoon Jambalaya evenly into center of rice Enjoy! Makes four servings *Chicken & Sausage can be substituted for the main meat of fish of your choice Jerk Chicken over wild rice w/ fruit 1 chicken (3-4 lb) fryer, cut up Starship’s Caribbean Jerk Marinade 1 cup wild rice 1 cup white rice 1 orange 1 kiwi Prepare chicken Wash chicken pieces in cold water and briefly let dry. In large bowl place chicken pieces & cover with Starship’s jerk marinade. Mix. Set for 1 hour, overnight for extreme pleasure. Preheat oven to 350 In greased roasting pan, lay out chicken pieces and bake for 50 minutes Cook rice. While chicken is cooking heat 4 cups of water. When boiling, add wild rice, cover and reduce to simmer. After 25 minutes add white rice and bring to a boil. Cover & reduce to simmer for 20 minutes. Prepare fruit- peel & diced both orange & kiwi, set aside. Both wild rice & white rice should be tender. Spread onto serving platter. When chicken is done, lay pieces over cooked rice Pour any cooking juices over platter and top with fruit 5-6 servings Great Chicken & Sausage Gumbo 4 oz diced Polish or Andullie sausage 4 oz diced chicken meat 2 cups cooked rice (according to package directions 1 jar Starship’s Gumbo Sauce Sautee chicken & sausage until chicken is cooked & sausage is lean. Do not drain. Add gumbo sauce, simmer for 15 minutes and serve over rice. Pass the File! Shrimp or Fish Gumbo 1 lb shrimp, any size or white fish, crawfish, or your choice 2 cups cooked rice 1 jar Starship’s Gumbo Sauce Sautee shrimp (or fish) in Gumbo sauce until cooked. About five minutes. Serve over cooked rice. Paprika Chicken 3- 6 oz chicken breast cut into ½ 2 tbsp olive oil 1 pound egg noodles- prepare by directions on package 1 bottle Starship’s Paprika sauce In frying pan, brown both sides of chicken in olive oil. Add paprika sauce, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over noodles. Online
